[pct-l 71] Stimpson - Status Update

David,
Thank you for keeping this quiet corner of the Interweb going for so long.
I am in year ten of my section hikes.  I allow myself two weeks a year to get something done (one year off for Covid).  I am 1713 miles in :)  Fires in the Marble Mountain Wilderness these past two years have prevented me from finishing California, but third time is the charm, right?  I will be heading to Etna, CA in July to give it another go.  I have taken two 'official detours,' and parts of the trail behind me have since been rerouted, but that is the nature of the beast.  I have walked a continuous path.  Every year I touch the point I last left off and continue on.
At 65 the miles get fewer and harder with every section.  Time will tell if I make it to Canada, but I have no regrets in what I have done so far.
