The main difference is that http://www.sensorly.com maps are based on real-world feedback. There is a free App for smart phones that sends info back to Sensorly where the data is massaged and the maps are drawn. Those are true coverage maps with nobody's axe to grind. 

Thanks for the Movistar link, it's probably a reasonable approximation. Mobile phone carriers are rather 'hopeful' about their coverage. The maps they provide are based on no topographic inconveniences, no buildings, no foliage, a clear day, with the wind to your back. But then, without a few surprises, where's the adventure?
