Thanks, Patricia, for your very sensitive and thoughtful look into what is usually a hidden part of the communities through which we pass as pilgrims.   There is not much open history of the Franco years available to those walking through the countryside of Spain; the vision you presented shares with us the personal experiences of those villagers.  It helps us to enter into our pilgrimage with a greater spiritual awareness of our experiences.
