Hi,
Just to add a thought on this subject I think that it would be worth
considering walking in the six weeks comprising June and the first two
weeks in July. I know that traditionally people have avoided this
because, in theory, it is the hottest time of the year but there are a
couple of big advantages. June has a low number of public holidays for
most of the European nations and therefore is not so popular, secondly
it is frequently not as hot as in July, August, September because
although the sun is at it's highest point the temperature has not had
the time to build.
Regards
Tim
