I find it sad that Rosina needs the sight of the Compostela to  "attest" to 
completing the Camino.  Does she have to look at a diploma  or a degree to know 
that she has completed her education?  
 
My laminated degrees are also gathering dust in a closet with my laminated  
Compostela, not hanging on the wall to show off my academic accomplishments or  
the completion of the Camino to me or anyone else.
 
If everyone who completes the Camino would forget about appeasing the  Church 
to get a Compostela, it would be better for them and a message for the  
Church authorities to change their attitudes..
