For those who know George Greenia,  editor of American
Pilgrim magazine, raconteur, medievalist and leader of
groups of students down the Camino each June:  This
just in...

George X. Greenia  is being inducted this very day
into the Royal Order of Isabella  the Catholic, an
official honor dedicated to ¨those of academic merit
in the area of Spanish culture.¨ The Spanish
ambassador will place the yellow and white ribbon with
a fine shiny medal round George´s neck at a special
"tiaras optional" reception this evening at the DC
embassy.   

George says he loves any event where he´s given
jewelry! 
He, too, is a gem.. a real camino treasure.
