My wife and I have done that section of the camino twice. We are in our  
50s and walked 22 to 30k per day. Do the math. You can do the Leon to  
Santiago part in 12 days without much problem. The route is very  
beautiful after Astroga so it will be a shame to move so fast, but if  
that is all the time you have oh well, what can you do. You might  
consider taking an hour bus ride (two day walk) from Leon to Astorga  
and begin your pilgrimage from there. Leon is very beautiful and you  
may want to stay an extra night there and enjoy it.

p.s. pack light !!!  (10% of your body weight would be ideal
p.s.s. Spain has great first aid for your feet if you need it. Better  
than the U.S, to my thinking
