[Gocamino] Thoughts on "cheap holidays"

Anthony and Barbara Cappuccitti are seasoned camino pilgrims, dedicated to
nuturing and promoting the whole philosophy of the pilgrimage, not only in
Canada, but throughout the world. They started and have developed the
Candadian Pilgrims Association and website networking and sharing with
similar organisations around the world. They issue a Canadian credential -
as do nearly all similar St James organisations - and when Barbara voiced
her concerns about the restrictions on the use of credentials from
organisations other than the Catholic church in Spain, she received this
reply:

*Perhaps you ought to look at other types of treks/trips/tours more in
concert with your perspective. There are a great many of them all over the
world. (I wonder why you would become involved with the Camino with such
incredibly little knowledge about it or understanding of it). *
**
I don't know who sent it to her, but I think this sort of unkind, dismissive
comment is completely uncalled for. Please, restrict comments to the issue
at hand and do not make snide remarks, based on ignorance, to any pilgrims
on this list - especially those who are so committed to the camino.
