In Spain the Three Kings are often referred to as Los tres Magos de Oriente. 
Mago in my experience is akin to a 'magician' or 'wizard', as in El Mago de 
Oz. All the same, pretty good soothsaying to get so close to the target. 
They needed a little help from the local staff to get the exact town as 
Bethlehem. Any recent stargazers boast that good an accuracy? Methinks 
perhaps not.
