[Gocamino] Scallop shell

In the Cluny museum in Paris is a pilgrim's hat with what looks like a lead  
or other base metal scallop shell attached to the brim. It dates way back to 
the  1200's.  This kind of hat with a medal appears in all the wood  cuts you 
see of medieval pilgrims.
 
Every pilgrim site has some sort of medal or symbol and that is the one for  
the Camino.
