Depends where in Spain you're talking about. Northern and coastal routes are
more temperate than the interior and southern routes. The Camino del Norte,
Camino Primitivo, Camino Ingles, and Camino Portugues would be 'warm' in
June/July. The Camino Madrid, Camino Aragones and Camino Frances would be
'warm to hot'. The southern portions of the Via de la Plata would be 'way
too hot'. Here is a complete overview of Spanish climate I assembled, cities
are listed alphabetically
http://elcaminosantiago.com/PDF/WX_Spain_by_Locale.pdf . Here is the Camino
Frances by Locale, from East to West
http://www.elcaminosantiago.com/PDF/WX_Camino_Frances_by_Locale-2b.pdf .
These are generally 30 years worth of crunched data, factor in it's getting
warmer in the summer. August is the hottest month of the year, but July is
defintiely a contender. May and September are reasonable compromises between
heat, rain and the thundering herd.

Buen Tiempo,

Grant
