Hello you all,
I've gotten four forwarded messages which disclose some misstatement on an earlier message:
One of them is an article from a periodical and states that while the Vatican web-site gets one million "unique" visitors per month it does get 3.5 million hits per day(!).
Does anyone in these listservs know the difference between the two.
Another forwarded message is an article from the May 8, 2006 Business Week about sister Judith Zoebelein who set the Vatican web site up. She is from the Hamptons, no less (a snobbish beachy area at the end of Long Island near New York City) and she wears the brown Franciscan habit ruling the roost as the director of the Internet Office of the Vatican.
Her life sounds like one of those bigger-than-life American (the good version) stories.
You can read the Business Week article by going to Google, typing "Judith Zoebelein" and then clicking on the site listed as "O Click All Ye Faithful". Sister Judith's story is both amazing and uplifting.

(Curiously, the techie helping out with the computers in Santiago was also a nun in habit)

By the way, one of the forwarded articles announces "Monastery Vacations" in Italy, France and Spain at $35.00 per night........... Prayer, anyone?

Warm regards,

Rosina
