Sarria to Santiago

My husband and I are "older" and I am not much of an athlete. We walked
in 6 full days and two partial days but I'm sure it can be done in less
time without rushing. We drove to Lugo and took a taxi to Sarria. We
only walked a few hours the first day. The seventh night we stayed in
Monte de Gozo so that we could walk into Santiago in the morning, get
our Compostelas, and make it in time to the noon Pilgrim Mass. In
between were 6 lovely days. Lydia
