International Meeting of Pilgrims in Rio de Janeiro

Hello you all,
The Second International Meeting of Santiago Pilgrims will take place in Rio
de Janeiro, Brasil, from the 10th to the 13th of next June.
The meeting has been organized by the Brazilian Association of Santiago
Friends and the Xunta de Galicia Administration for promotion of the Camino.
The site of the meeting will be the Center for Physical Education Adalberto
Nunez (which has swimming pools, saunas, volley ball courts, etc. etc.etc).
Participants will stay in apartments with bunks and communal baths and will
receive breakfast (European style), and buffet lunch and dinner.
There will be meetings for discussion and sharing of Camino experiences,
showing of videos, pictures, etc., and there will be several instructional and
informational activities related to the Camino.
Brasil being Brasil, there will also be organized trips to the beach  and
samba lessons and soccer lessons.
The cost to participants will be 250 Reais (about $90 dollars). (which
includes related transportation to and from airports).
Arrangements may be made for those who wish to prolong their stay in Brasil
and/or want to stay in hotels.
The weather in June in Rio de Janeiro is absolutely gorgeous.
