The Second International Meeting of Santiago Pilgrims will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, from the 10th to the 13th of next June. <BR>
The meeting has been organized by the Brazilian Association of Santiago Friends and the Xunta de Galicia Administration for promotion of the Camino.<BR>
The site of the meeting will be the Center for Physical Education Adalberto Nunez (which has swimming pools, saunas, volley ball courts, etc. etc.etc). <BR>
Participants will stay in apartments with bunks and communal baths and will receive breakfast (European style), and buffet lunch and dinner.<BR>
There will be meetings for discussion and sharing of Camino experiences, showing of videos, pictures, etc., and there will be several instructional and informational activities related to the Camino.<BR>
Brasil being Brasil, there will also be organized trips to the beach and samba lessons and soccer lessons.<BR>
The cost to participants will be 250 Reais (about $90 dollars). (which includes related transportation to and from airports).<BR>
Arrangements may be made for those who wish to prolong their stay in Brasil and/or want to stay in hotels.<BR>
The weather in June in Rio de Janeiro is absolutely gorgeous. <BR>
