Tomas and Majarin

....unless you are a woman with.... female problems! I assure you!
I am not a frail woman who cannot do without "modern comforts", but in
order to reach the "toilet" (the meadows around Tomas' house!!) during the
night you had to get out of the sleeping bag, pick up a torch and hold it
in your mouth, go down the ladder, overcome a mixture of bodies and
backpacks and avoid being bitten by the dog.
A very ironical pilgrim told me Tomas was very proud to tell everybody he
had hosted 20.000 pilgrims (!!!) in his house so, he added, "Fancy what
kind of toilet-meadows are we walking on!!!!"
Tomas is a fantastic person everybody should know. But the hygienical
conditions are horrible. If you sleep there without catching hepatitis,
consider yourself a very lucky person and light a candle to Santiago!

IFOUND Tomas and Manjarin well worth the stop and stay. Its probably
the closest to the medieval experience you can find today, and well
worth giving up the modern comforts for a night.
