Dear readers, The huge fiesta in Logrono, San Mateo day,The populous was out in full force till the next day partying all night . Here is the writing I made of the experience. It has a reference to Felicia the Logrono lady.
I am homeless boy.Give me figs.Old toothless woman bears fresh water, love and dirty old figs.I throw her fruit away after a polite distance and walk on to the party. It's Logrono.Business center of Spain. And there is a drunkening.Big time Rioja. the streets are filled with piss, blood and shattered glass, symptomatic of citizens gone amok. They hose down the streets and carry on .It is the yearly fiesta, and we are the spectators of the debauchery that knows no bounds. The crowds split, drink reform and split again amongst music, laughter and savagery, We will meet after the sun has set and the world is reborn again on the dusty way of the Camino.

Kit, I am sure you will not remember me, but about 6 months ago you sent me one of your videos (I'm in Hawaii). My husband is the pastor of a church who sent us on our camino; paying our way there and praying for us as we walked. Many of them are quite elderly and could not themselves hope ever to walk it. Your video was invaluable in helping them to understand what we would be doing. It gave them tangible images of where we would be and what we would encounter along the way. (after seeing the picture of bandaged feet, I can assure you that I had the most prayed for feet in Eurpoe!!) It made our camino a real community experience. Now that we are back, the video brings tears to my eyes as I remember being on the way.

How about doing "Part II?" I'd love to see more.

  Aloha and many thank<<<<estelle
