I walked a good portion of the road in a southerly direction, from near the
city of Aveiro, many years ago as part of a Romaria. Given the many changes
to the landscape in the interim and your apparent wish to walk north from
Lisbon, I doubt this experience would be helpful to you but let me know if
you think otherwise.
