Bells!

Oh, Carolyn reminded me! When you are in Santiago, try to figure out when the bells will ring. Be in the square when they sound. It is wonderful! I was, by accident, on the upper balcony of the Cathedral (in the museum) when they rang one Sunday. It was gloriously deafening!
A good time to visit that museum is during a Mass. Most of the people there have come for the service and there were very few in the museum in May 2004.
