Almost - dealing with the unexpected

I found a month was not long enough to walk from Ronscesvalles to Santiago -
 I've now done it twice and both times took about 36 days.  Anyway it
really spoils the journey if you are running to a timetable.  Part of the
beauty of the camino is being able to "go with the flow".  I hate to
suggest missing any part of the walk but maybe you should think about
taking the bus for part of the meseta, or doing the walk in two parts.
