The Camino Portugues

hey there..in regards to the camino portugues,  i have  just walked it......1week ago......it was hard in that there is little support,  like on the cf but beautiful in many parts,

some places are well marked, but there are others,  especially through the towns and along the highway  550 that are impossible....too much exhaust and downright dangerous!

i am glad it did it,  but i would never do it again.....i was the only pilgrim in 3  (very nice) albergues.....and that was a little creepy being a woman walking alone......i was so spoiled having previously exprienced the community of walkers on the cf......i finally met one man who had been walking from oporto.....

also diffcult is the lack of bars and stores along the way.....
..there are nice albergues,  though in all except one place....i think it was caldas del rey.......if you want any other info,  i'd be glad to communicate with you......

i say,  do it but don't expect it to be as friendly as the cf,  which is so wonderful....
