off the subject

Athena,

The Camino is life and, as such, NOTHING should be 'off-subject'

As a Father, pilgrim and motorcyclist you and your family have my sympathy and good wishes on all counts.

On the bright side your son is still alive and will, I hope, make a full recovery; you are about to become a grandmother!

Now, out of necessity your son and daughter-in -law will be able to spend those first few weeks togeter with their new child. A magical time. Just remind him that Mom will require even more rest than a father whose legs are in plaster! I presume he can be left safely 'holding the baby'?

I'm off to the city with which you share your penname with so will be unsubscribing for a while at the end of the week but don't forget to let us know if baby is a perigrina or perigrino!

Good luck to all starting their Camino

Jeffrey

I am off to San Antonio. My son had a motorcycle accident, broke both legs. His wife is expecting a baby this month.
Ora pro nobis...okay?
