Hello you all,
The General Administration of the Castilla and Leon cultural patrimony will
spend 4.6 Million Euros refurbishing the Monastery of San Juan de Ortega as an
albergue.
The new facility will have  dining rooms, bathrooms,  and laundry facilities
alongside the projected 36 rooms for housing pilgrims.
The plan has the purpose to preserve as much as possible of the historical
structure of the Monastery while seeking to provide comfortable and efficient
facilities for pilgrims.
