Stretching, while my legs are still warm from exercise, is the best help for me, to keep my legs from cramping in the night. It's worth a trip to a friend or trainer for one little demonstration to be sure you are stretching correctly if you don't do it on your own already. It helps with tired muscles during the day if you stretch when you stop for a break.
