Mahoney's Singular Pilgrim Narrative

I reviewed the book in the latest Newsletter. I used parts of it in a course
on world pilgrimage that I teach here at Univ Rhode Island and the students
compared her opinions and ideas with others who travelled to compostela as
part of a study of the literature of pilgrimage. They, too, thought she was
self-absorbed, as Kathy Gower says. She does have some interesting passages.
