Who can subscribe?

Hi Lynda:

I have a question. I don't remember haven't seen any newsletter or subscription when I got to the web page, I don’t think I haven't seen all the features yet. But now that you mentioned it, I would like to know, if you can inform me here, which is the cost of the subscription and, what is more important, if people that are not living in the USA can become subscribers.

As I am traveling the Camino with a small group of friends from France, Chile, Argentina, Germany and Spain, I would like to know if they could get the pilgrim credential through your association "Friends" too or if it just for Americans. I am the one who is finding out about these things and putting everything together and I would prefer all of us have the same pilgrim passport.

Also, are there any differences among the pilgrim passport you give at "Friends”, that one given by the Catholic Church and the one given by Confraternity of Saint James, in England?

Are all of them equally helpful to get the Compostela or they have preferences?

Also, I have read in a couple places about a kind of "Lunch reward" you get at the end of the Way when you come from far away, all the way walking or by bike or horseback. It would be a 3 days Boucher to have lunch at the 5 stars hotel at Santiago. Have you heard about that? Is it true or it is one of those "picturesque" myths about the Camino?

Sorry if all these has already been asked!

Lia.
