Digital or Film

I've got one of these with bendy wire legs each about 1/4 inch (6mm)
diameter and 6 ins (150mm). They are so cheap mine was bundled in when I
bought a digital camera - a bit odd really as there is no screw hole on the
camera to take it! I use a blob of 'Blue Tac' instead as it's a VERY light
camera - Casio Exilim, about the size of a credit card only 11mm thick
(BlueTac is yellow in France by the way, maybe Spain too?).

These things take up no space and weigh almost nothing but mean you can take
a long exposure shot without flash in a church - great for stained glass
windows. Otherwise I used to use a small plastic bag with a handful of dry
peanuts as a moldable rest - you can always eat them if you get peckish.

Nice article on how to take decent photos Pieter.

Dear all, dear tom,
As I suggested the tripods are not longer than a pencil with foldable
legs.(just mind the screw to fit it to your camera)
Mine is so tiny I do not know here it is and have a second sturdier one that
even can hold a Hasselblad !

The ones I mean are mostly used as display tripods in shops!
Try to find a picture for you though

Please do not think of it as a tripod, it's just a stand you've to find a
place to put it on (and secure it) and then with timer or remote control
you're all right!
Till later off list

Pieter
