Digital or Film

I was aware of the sensitivity of floppy disks, videotapes, etc. being sensitive to radioation, but not about film.  I appreciate your advice.  You have given me and possibly others some additional foresight.

Either have the film developed in Spain (where 1-hour service is as nearly common as it is in the US) or carry it home with you in your hand luggage (checked baggage is subjected to X rays and other damaging radiation in this age of hyper"Security." While hand luggage is also X rayed, the strength of the radiation is usually far less than that used for checked baggage).
