I think that Howard, as usual, protests too much. Pesonally I'd be sad to
lose him - it's only by seeing the bad that we recognise the good :o)

Tagelle, whoever and wherever you are, you are not a fish so don't rise to
the bait!! I've met a dozen decent Americans (ie US citizens) for every
Howard Mendes.

We all know Howard of old and few of us blame the whole of US for the views
of right wing extremists like him.

Whatever our nationality we get judged our profile on the world stage,
mainly through the way our politicians behave and, sadly we ge the
politicians we deserve, you got Bush, we got Blair and poor old Spain
(who've seen enough politics over the last 70 years to last a lifetime) got
Azanar.

Enjoy your Christmas and let Howard and the Americans for a New Century get
on with searching for WMD in New Zealand or whatever he's upto - unless H is
auditioning for the role of Sauron??

Now back to that walk across Spain we were all discussing . . . . .
