Travel from Pamplona to Roncesvalle

Mr. Shelton:Congratulations on embarking on the greatest journey! When I arrived in Pamplona 2 springs ago, it was spitting snow. I took a cab direct from the airport to the nice hotel/restaurant at Roncesvalles. Like always, I asked "cuenta la cobra" before I got in...I think it came to something like $30. It was worth it, with the bad weather and the jet lag; I couldnt' bear another shlep of luggage and transfer from plane to cab to bus, and all the waiting in between.  Lots of cabs at the airport, and if you're lucky there will be other pilgrims there, starting out, who can split the cab cost with you. (That's how I met Gerhard, a German guy I still communicate with.)   Buen Camino!Rebekah
