<DIV>When I arrived in Pamplona 2 springs ago, it was spitting snow. I took a cab direct from the airport to the nice hotel/restaurant at Roncesvalles. Like always, I asked "cuenta la cobra" before I got in...I think it came to something like $30. It was worth it, with the bad weather and the jet lag; I couldnt' bear another shlep of luggage and transfer from plane to cab to bus, and all the waiting in between. </DIV>

<DIV>Lots of cabs at the airport, and if you're lucky there will be other pilgrims there, starting out, who can split the cab cost with you. (That's&nbsp;how I met Gerhard, a German guy I still communicate with.) &nbsp;</DIV>
