the Basque people

I am here to say that I walked the Camino in the fall of '03 and I
encountered people of ALL persuasions and nationalities.  Without a doubt,
the nicest,  warmest, most personable and accommodating people I met were
Basque!   Fear not.  Rise up and walk the Camino.  And if you can,  travel to
Bilbao on the way back.
