One seal, two seal

I walked last May 2001 from Roncesvalles to Santiagoin 30 days.  The passport
they give you in Roncesvalles only has 40 spaces.  In the beginning I got two
stamps then only one.  I only had one stamp for each day of the last 100 km
which was from the refugio at night.  No issues in Santiago.  I don't think
my passport was looked at for more than 30 seconds and my stamps were not in
order as I did not care where people put them although other pilgrims did.
Maybe they scrutinize people who walk only the last 100 km more?
