questions on doing laundry

I used a couple of those metal shower curtain hooks to attach wet laundry to
my backpack as I walked.  It worked for me.

Also, I remember soimewhere on the meseta, there was a little roadside park
with a hand pump sucking water out of the ground.  I took the time at
mid-day to do my laundry there, and then I layed it out on the fluffy green
grass to dry, while I layed down beside it and took a nap.

I hated doing laundry.  At times I thought that I might be declared a
biological hazard...    :-().
