Fiction or humility

Dear Pieter:

I appreciate your comment re. being nonjudgemental and have take it to
heart. Perhaps greater tolerance is one of the things I will learn on the
Camino. However, tolerance has limits. Even Christ, himself, drove the
monylenders out of the temple.

I have personal motives for making the pilgrimage. But, no, I do not expect
to communicate with the dead or encounter evil black dogs, or look for my
sword or whatever. In my opinion, the New Age 'philosophy' is not inherent
in or because of the Camino experience. To imply as much in print sullies
one of the great traditions of Western Civilization; and the millions who
have traveled the Road to Santiago.

This is my opinon. I hope it will be tolerated.

Joe
