Backpacks by air

I travel with a Kelty Redwing backpack for nearly all my trips anywhere.  I
have never had a problem carrying it on a plane, either before or after
9/11.  I just make sure the straps are snugged down and secure and not
dangling anywhere.  I will probably use this same pack for my Camino, and
don't anticipate any troubles.

I think the idea of "boxing" up and checking questionable items is a good
one.  I'm tucking it away for future use!!
