returning from camino

Hello,
I have just returned from the camino starting in St. Jean to Santiago. I am
an American woman, traveled alone and know no Spanish. My pilgrimage became
my journey of faith.

The bus directions from Madrid were extremely helpful along with the cab
driver's phone number for a ride into France. I was lucky to catch a ride
with a kind Spanish woman so I didn't need the taxi but I was amazed that I
had the correct phone number. Also, I felt I had the appropriate
equipment...again, thanks to this LISTSERV.
I hope I can be of some help to others.
