Accomodation in Bayonne

A small hotel we stayed in was the Hotel Cote Basque (tlf: 05 59 55 10 21).
This hotel is situated directly across the street from the train station in
Bayonne. It is small, clean and inexpensive.
You should check at the train station if there is s 'school' train going
from Bayonne to SJPP. These go at about 7.00 am on schooldays, and do not
always appar on timetables. If that is the case you could probably complete
the walk to Roncesvalles in one day. Hontto is a miserable little place
with nothing going on  (it really is just a hotel, not a village)
