Preparation for the Camino

my brother hiked the appalachian trail and I hiked the camino, and we both
agree -- nothing prepares you for long distance hiking except long distance
hiking.

I agree with some other posts -- start taking long walks, and I recommend
doing it with a loaded back pack!
