It's also very satisfying when asked at later stages along the
Camino "Where did you start" to say on the French side of the mountains!

I was in indifferent shape on leaving SJPP and was smugly impressed by my
own efforts until I met Hester who was 63 years old (except for her right
hip which she had replaced 9 years ago)and who "couldn't see what all the
fuss was about".
