Taste test

I wore Asolo (Italian-made) mid-size water-resistant hiking boots that I
bought at EMS in NYC; cost around $100 on sale; very comfortable and I only
had small blisters on each of my small toes, which did not give me too much
discomfort.  My podiatrist told me to use a small amount of Vaseline to
prevent excessive friction;  maybe that helped.  Howard Mendes
