Letter of Introduction

Hi Jane,
The letter that I took merely introduced me as a member of "Our Lady of
Pompeii" parish in New York City, and conveyed good wishes and blessings.
Nobody asked to see it, not once.
 From what I have seen, the pilgrim's credential is given upon filling up a
small form with one's name, nationality and purpose of the pilgrimage.  At
least, that was the case in Roncesvalles and Jaca.
