ummm... sanitary facilities????

Hello,
We're to leave for El Camino on June 2. Wondering what the "bathroom
facilities" are like. Are their public restrooms in the towns along the way?
Or do we have to run to the bushes? What is the cleansliness factor like in
this regard?
