However this is not he list rule to say I second that or I’ll disagree or
quotes others as long as backpacks and shoes are crucial for the pilgrim I’d
like to express my concern about “walking shoes” .
First apart form the climate conditions which reflect in the soil
substance” or the absence of it, the Camino passes places, which do a great
asking for the sturdiness of you muscles and bone at your feet.
Indeed I’ve seen people walking on gym shoes, but remember you can do the
Camino by the carrettera alone.
The rocks in the tracks are sometimes that big that you feel them despite
the heavy soles and in my case even a metal absorber inside the sole of my
shoes. To that comes the support these ( not climbing- shoes) give to your
ankles.
I will certainly all advise to have better shoes than running shoes.
If you fare well with them, will you be s o kind to announce your findings
at the end of the pilgrimage !
Take all care

everyone in his own good way !
