New to List

Hello Everyone: I'm new to the list. On a visit to Iberia (mainly Portugal)
last spring I also visited Santiago de Compostela. I was seized with the
idea of doing the pilgrimage by bike on the French Road. I plan on doing
this in October, arriving in Saint Jean du Pied de Porte around the third of
the month and leaving Iberia on the thirty-first. I am seventy years old and
do a fair amount of riding, over eight hundred miles so far this year and
hiking in the White Mountains of NH as well. I am in good health. I would
appreciate any advice that anyone who has ridden the Camino can give.
