On crossing the Pyrenees

Gabrielle already mentioned it; you can be very lost ( with your self and
the road) in the Pyreneees.
Never ever cross it alone; you’ll find buddies in the alberques and Fonda’s.
Weather changes abruptly there and can pretty nasty !
Have a good map and even a compass when crossing.

PS However done this on your own is an achievement to be proud of. The river
and the small chapel opposite the monastery of Samos is very lovely indeed.
