Iberia discounts

Last September, after completing the pilgrimage, my friend Liz, who went by
bike, and I, who walked, had planed to take a train to Madrid and stay there
a few days before returning to New York.  But, thoroughly enchanted with
Santiago we decided to remain there until the last day.  We then went to
Iberia to purchase tickets for a connecting flight to Madrid and when the
airline people heard that we have just completed the pilgrimage, (we couldn't
stop talking about it), they told us that Iberia gave a 50% discount to
Compostela holders on flights from Santiago to other sites in Spain, a 20%
discount on flights from Santiago to other European Community countries, and
none elsewhere.
They very graciously offered us that unasked-for, discount.
