Women on The Camino

Hi Carolyn,
I am a sixty year old female and I walked the Camino last summer alone.  At
least, that was my intention, but more often than I liked other pilgrims
would walk with me.
There were quite a few other female walkers who had intended to walk alone
(for meditation purposes, or to take a rest from their faimilies or the
world, or what-have-you), and a common complaint among us was that we were
not alone enough.
You should harbor no worries in this regard.
