Santiago to Paris

Nick,
So, did you take a train from Santiago to Madrid? and then showed up at the
airport and found a flight to Paris for $150.00?
Time is not an issur for me either, but money is another matter.  I'm flying
to and from Paris on a United companion ticket which means I just need to
check the loads about a week before I leave and then show up at the airport.
Basically, it's an open-ended ticket.
