Scalable Matrix Computation Elements

I just got a call from a guy who is marketing a matrix processing chip set
designed to be incorporated into workstations and PC's.    It comes with
software support and is supposed to yield Craylike performance.
Naturally he would like workstation manufacturers to incorporate this 
technology as a standard part of their offering.
